Toni Storm, known as "Timeless," successfully defended her AEW Women’s World Championship at the AEW All In Texas 2025 event. In a highly anticipated match, she faced off against TBS Champion Mercedes Mone, managing to retain her title.

The contest, which lasted over 25 minutes, showcased both competitors' skills and featured a series of impressive finishing moves. Ultimately, Storm cleverly outmaneuvered Mone, handing her the first singles defeat of her AEW career.

Despite Mone's strong performance, including kicking out of three consecutive Storm Zeroes, Storm's final move was unexpected. She placed Mone on the top rope, kissed her, and executed another Storm Zero to secure the victory.

Mone had been on a winning streak, collecting various championships, including the AEW TBS Championship and others, before this match. This loss marked her first singles defeat since joining AEW last year.

Following her defeat, Mone's recent title loss to AZM in New Japan Strong was also noted, as she had been pinned in a triple threat match.

Future Title Match on the Horizon

With this victory, Toni Storm is now approaching 150 days as the AEW Women’s World Champion, having won the title in February at AEW Grand Slam in Australia against Mariah May.

Additionally, Athena triumphed in the women’s Casino Gauntlet match at AEW All In Texas 2025, earning her a future title shot against Storm. This match is expected to take place at the upcoming AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door pay-per-view on August 24 at The O2 Arena in London.
